Duff and Not Duff

With all eyes on Hilary these days, there are so many things that can be confusing to fans. Often times, even the most obsessed fan can find a distressing moment when trying to decide if something truly has to do with Hilary or not. Also all the tabloids are flowing with gossip which only confuse matters. Consider this your official guide for discerning all things that are potentially 'Duff'.


Duff Beer

This is a product called 'Duff Beer' made popular by the animated series The Simpsons. It can be easily confused with Hilary Duff because the beer's name is Duff, however there are a few clues that give it away as being not-Duff. First off, it's an alcoholic beverage and Hilary's not old enough to drink. Secondly, it probably takes nasty and comes in a can, while Hilary tastes sweet and comes from heaven.

THE VERDICT: Not Duff


Stuff (ordinary)

Stuff can be very tricky because it's verdict is based widely on it's context. Plus it rhymes with Duff. Stuff, as seen in this photo is run of the mill junk - you probably have a lot of this floating around your house in the form of clutter. Stuff as seen in this context, no matter how cool, is innately unrelated to Hilary.

THE VERDICT: Not Duff


Stuff (by Hilary Duff)

This is the exception to the rule of Stuff - Stuff by Hilary Duff places stuff in the context that makes it decidedly Duff. As she has overseen many aspects of it's production and design, it can be placed in a catagory related to Hilary. If you're ever confused, just look for her name and the Stuff by Hilary Duff logo. It's available at Target stores nationwide.

Duffle Bags

Another confusing item, a duffle bag sounds like Duff and even contains the name, but again context is the key. Most duffle bags are simply made of a poly-vinyl material and designed to hold items. Even if holding all of your Hilary Duff collectables, a dufflebag is not innately 'Duff' - the exception being if the duffle bag is part of the Stuff by Duff line of items.

Duff

This one can by very confusing as it is widely based on a regional dialect. In some areas, secluded in space and time, it is common to refer to someone's buttocks as their 'duff'. Consider the uncultured hillbilly's phrase "Git off yer duff!", as a way of seeing just how this would be used in a sentance. The thought of a hairy ass crack and Hilary are two things that should never be thought of together - therefore it stands to reason that this form of duff is definetely NOT realated to Hilary.

Duff's Duff

Here's yet another example of how the same item placed in the proper context can make it 'Duff'. In this case, the only duff that is 'Duff' is the one that belongs to Hilary. This one is estimated to be soft, sweet, and an enthusiast of Angel Soft bath tissue. All of the beautiful qualities that are Hilary Duff.
