This past month was another month of record breaking traffic to this site, which is great. I know that I've said this same thing for the past few months, but I really do appreciate everyone's visits to my site. So far the month of January has been incredible! My little site is racking up mad hits left and right. It's really great to see that more and more people are finding the site - I've noticed several new users on the message board and a wide range of discussion going on. Unfortunately I'm not very well aquainted with some of the topics, but I'm learning lots of new stuff which is awesome.

I'm slowing starting to realize that I'm gaining a small following by having this site. I ran into a total stranger on Napster recently and he actually knew who I was by my user ID. That was kinda freaky but equally as cool. And because of occurances such as this I've been trying to keep this site updated on a continual basis even in spite of everything else going on in my life. I have lots of new ideas for this site - one of which I'll instigate right now.

There's one thing I've always hated in the past - webmasters who act all high and mighty. There's been several instances in the past where I'd visit someone's site and write to them, only to have them ignore me or write back to me in a demeaning fashion. I really hate that, so I've done my best to avoid doing things like that. I had originally planned on this bulletin as giving this website a personal touch, so everyone can get a chance to know what was going on in the mind of the person who's spending so much time creating a shrine to robotic animals. So I'll do that now. Well the biggest news in the life of "VegaNova" is that I had a girlfriend recently. Now, some of you may be thinking that having an obsession with children's restaurants would make me a literal chick-magnet. But contrary to popular belief, this is sadly not the case. So when someone came along, I found it to be newsworthy. That's basically been the highlight of my recent life.

Ok enough about that and back to what I was saying about nurturing things while they're around. The point I'm trying to make is that I'll continue to update this website as long as people keep coming to it.

I'm hoping to create an atmousphere within this site where people can take a more active part in things. Almost like a small community where ideas can be exchanged and oppinions as well. I have the message board in place which seems to be working quite well, but I'd like to take things further. I've been considering putting up a "fan art" section to this site for people to submit their art to. I realize that not everyone has pictures they can share, but anyone can create their own art. Heck I'll even post some of my own, it's not the greatest in the world but everyone might enjoy seeing it. Also if anyone has drawings etc. that they'd like to submit, contact me and I can get it all set up!

Also I hope that eveyone likes the new banner for my site. It's basically the same as the old one, but I decided to ditch the gothic lettering because it didn't fit this site at all. I figure that after a year, people get tired of seeing the same thing over and over.
