But I shouldn't complain too much. As long as one remains eccentric, become an adult is a lot more like becoming a "sophisticated child". By that I mean that you can still do all the stupid stuff that you wanted to do as a child, but you now have the resources and ability to go off the deep end with it. It also helps to have friends who support (or at least tolerate) your obsessions. And luckily I've been blessed with friends such as these. But as I mentioned earlier, I have been working alot lately and it's been taking it's toll. I'm sure that alot of people have noticed the sparce updates over the past month. It really bothers me to not be able to update this site for weeks at a time. Building and maintaining this website was one of the things I loved to do, and I feel awful for having to let it go week after week without updates (especially when I have so much stuff lined up and ready to be added). Needless to say, I've been stressed out lately and I think I need a vacation. And if VegaNova needs a vacation, a vacation VegaNova will get. So before I have to go back to school I'm taking some time off work and taking a little vacation - this is where having awesome friends comes into play. If all works out well, my girlfriend, one of my friends, and I are gonna go to Florida and with any luck get to see Creative Engineering. I also want to hit every Rock-afire show along the way. We'll also check out Disneyworld. That's another thing I've wanted to see ever since I was a child, but was never able to experience.

So I'm really excited at the moment. Anticipating this trip has been the key to maintaining my sanity. So hopefully when all's said and done, I'll be back to my old self. :)

I hope that everyone enjoys the collectable and picture of the month! These are a small preview of what Dbenjami has sent me recently. Wonderful CEC images that time has forgotten. I'm sure it's just what you classic CEC fans have been eager to see. And it only gets better - there's alot more which will be posted in the weeks ahead so be sure to check back often. I was so crazy about these pics that I just had to post them right away so everyone else could get a good look at them!

Again, I appologize to everyone who's submitted material that hasn't been posted yet. I'm still in the process of getting everything together, but I now have some help (from All Star Chuck) in maintaining this website, so hopefully things will get done faster now, and the updates will be closer together.
