ISSUE #23 - April, 2002
Back to ShowBiz Pizza.com Homepage

Welcome back everyone to another Billy Bob's Bulletin. You're probably wondering why I haven't updated in so long... well I have been. In fact I created an entirely new website for a graphic design project. Ok, it's only 5 pages long which hardly qualifies it as a website, but anyway that's what's been taking up my time. If you want to check it out you can by clicking here.

If you keep track of the discussion taking place on the message board I'm sure you're aware of the Greatest Hits CD - I actually purchased a copy which is one of the very few items I've bought from CEC in the past few years. It's not much to look at, and it only has 10 songs, but the price is definetely right. Shipping included it costs less than newer CDs at Wal-mart. The back even has the dates to the showtapes the songs were obtained from. Defintely cool that they added that! Normally I wouldn't be so happy to plug a new CEC item, but this CD really has me excited. Hopefully it won't be their last CD. Buy your copy now!

Another interesting CEC collectable to come out this month is the new exclusive Firefighter Chuck E. limited plush. From what I hear it's causing quite a stir amoung many people in the Northeast. A lot of them feel that CEC is doing this as a way of cashing in on the events of September 11th, without donating any of the profits to a relief fund of some kind. I'm sure this isn't what they had in mind, but nevertheless it has some folks outraged.

Yogi Bear in Billy Bob's Stage

  • Concept Yogification?!?

Hopefully everyone got a kick out of April 1st this year. It's a surprise that I was able to pull it off at all with all the school assignments I had at the time. What might interest some of you is that, despite having the title of Rock-afire Enquirer, much of what was written about was in fact true. Some of it I wasn't able to confirm, and alot of it was total lies. But unfortunately I can't say which was true and which wasn't, I'll have save that for another time. Ok, one hint... the photo of Yogi shown here is NOT a photo-manipulated image.

The new Billy Bob's Wonderland that's being built across the street fromt the existing one in Barboursville, WV is moving along ahead of schedule. The current plans are to have the building completed by the end of August at the latest. There's also talks of a miniature golf course being added to the inside, along with the lazer tag and go-kart track.

See you again next month!
