ISSUE #27 - August, 2002
Back to ShowBiz Pizza.com Homepage

Hello fans. Welcome back to another fun filled Billy Bob's Bulletin. Sorry it's late again. Despite having a full week of vacation, some personal issues arose which forced me to cut back on some of the updating I had planned. But hopefully my school schedual will allow me plenty of time to update at least once a week.

Fortunately before trouble came up I was able to crank out ome of the updates I've been wanting to add for a long time. However, by doing so I've come very close to filling up the 150 MB I currently have alloted in webspace. Also, the traffic to the site has been up as well which leaves me with a delicate balance between memory and bandwidth usage. So as long as I can find a way to maintain this, there's still a ton of stuff I'd love to add - such as the store directory & sale page. Also I've been kicking around the idea of "web eggs" or hidden bonus pages. I've always loved those things. Let me know what you think.

Also I just want to take a moment to thank everyone who's submitted stuff to me and for everyone who continually visits this site. I know that some of the stuff that's been posted in the last few weeks I've had in my hands for a year or more - thanks for your patience. And for those who have submitted stuff that's yet to be posted, I appreciate your continued patience as I do my best to get it all added in. You guys are the best!

I'd like to switch gears now and talk about something that I've kept out of until now. I'm sure that if you've visited the message board anytime over the past few months you're aware of the Fan Club newsletters that DavyD123 has been taking subscriptions for. And you probably know the controversey surrounding them, and everyone has their own views about it. I was able to recently obtain an actual copy of one, and I really don't see that he's profiting much from this. Being a graphics major I have somewhat of an idea about printing / copying costs.
Now I say all this not in the interest of promoting subscriptions or advocating what I feel is right or wrong, but I did want to try to put some minds at ease. I am also going to refrain from posting the material contained in these fanzines on this site. Eventually you might see an archive of issues here for fans to read, but for the time being or until something can be worked out they are exclusive to the subscribers.

See you again next month!
