ISSUE #31 - February, 2003
Back to ShowBiz Pizza.com Homepage

Wow! A new Bulletin! Are you sure you're visiting the right website? I know, I know... it's a few months late. But don't fret, I've gotten everything together and believe it or not I have some pretty big plans for the website. My school schedule is much lighter this semester which means more time for updating. Now although there has been no official update in a few months, I've done a lot of tinkering with things as soon as I tie up some loose ends and dead links, entire sections will soon be available.

So where have I been? I guess that I just needed a break. When you live this kinda stuff it's easy to get sick of it when you get overloaded. So before the point of no return, I took a little breather. Picked up stamp collecting again. Quiet, peaceful, and simple. Then CEI had to list a Rock-afire show on eBay and reminded me why I even started collecting ShowBiz stuff in the first place.

I wasn't going to bid just because of the huge investment I wasn't sure I was going to be able to afford. But the more I thought about it and the more numbers I crunched, I realized that I had to try. Even though the show was incomplete, I had most all of the items needed to finish it (cosmetically). It was if it was meant to be. Pretty much in the course of a day or two I was prepared to put myself in debt for a long while and hop on a plane to Florida. So I placed a bid as large as I possibly could have but it just wasn't enough. Even though I didn't win, it revitalized me with a passion not to walk away from all this. So I hope that everyone didn't miss me too much, but I'm back now and I hope to update much more often.

  • This is a really cool item that popped up on eBay awhile ago. Funny seeing Chuck E. on a bottle of beer. Kind of.

  • Here's an awesome shot of Billy Wilbur from the Hard Luck Bears show!

So my absence hasn't stopped people from submitting photos and stuff for the site which means I still have a ton of new things to add. Some of it I haven't added just yet because I'm trying to earn some extra money and get rid of a lot of junk that's taking up space around my appartment so I have less to take with me when I move. Many of you have probably noticed some new items I've listed on eBay, and expect the sale page to be opperational soon. I've got lots of CEC stuff for sale including some parody posters and other rare items.

Well I'm actually off to get some of that sale page updating finished right now, so I'll let you all go. Thanks everyone for your patience. Also I hope that everyone enjoyed the Christmas cards. If you didn't get one by chance it was most likey because I didn't have your address in my book. If you'd like to get one next time, just drop me an email with your address. Everyone seemed to get a blast out of them so I'll most likely do it again.

See you again soon!
