ISSUE #38 - September / October, 2003 Back to ShowBiz Pizza.com Homepage
Welcome back everyone to another bi-monthly issue. Not too much has been going on in the world of SPP / CEC lately, and I've been so caught up in getting other aspects of this site rolling that the bulletin had to take a back seat. Sorry about that, but some of our new site additions will make up for it, I promise.

One little new feature that's been added and you may not be aware of is the new site logo which can be found on the Intro page. In time, maybe this logo will end up working it's way further into the site as a new banner is developed and so forth. Another little addition is the new Error 404 page which comes up when a file is lost or a link is bad - hopefully nobody will ever have to see this page, but just for anyone who's curious, it can be found here.
One section of this site that's often updated and not logged in the official updates page is Jasper's Showtape Review. In case you haven't checked it lately, you might want to see all of the new additions. The archive of shows is coming together nicely and the number of actual reviewed showtapes is over 100. We're desperately trying to complete the lists and reviews so if you have a showtape (or copy of one) that's not in the list or hasn't been reviewed, please contact us if you would like to help. I also want to give special thanks to PizzaCam for lending his showtape knowledge and helping us make some major progress!

I hope that everyone has enjoyed the new format of the Rock-afire Mp3 archive - the bandwidth seems to have held up rather well so for this next month I'm going to try to get more posted. Again, I will do what I can to honor any requests that I get. One final note - if there's any of the Hard Luck Bears clips you're missing (from the last 5 BB's Bulletins) download them now because they'll be deleted soon to make more room. Perhaps sometime down the road I'll post the entire medley in the archive, but for now get those clips if you haven't already.
If you've been following the past Bulletins you may notice me saying several times that we have been planning new features for this site. The touch-ups here and there and the newly remodeled Mp3 archive are just the begining. One of the major new concepts that's been seriously kicked around for the past few months (and past few years in my head) is finally coming to completion. Everything is just about ready to go and with any luck this new addition will be added by October's end. Stay tuned!

| Another section that should be restored soon is the History page that's been missing from the information section for some time. At school I have a public speaking class and I've gotten clearance to give a short speech on the history of SPP / CEC. What that boils down to is now I HAVE to do it for class so it'll be a short step to getting it added back onto here. Pretty nice strategy if you ask me, now if I could only get away with using logos from this site for my graphics class...
Well that about does it for this month. Oh yeah, for everyone who participated in the Crazy Colander Contest at RAP, I have your membership cards ready and printed! It's been over 2 months, I know, but expect them in the mail sometime soon. You are after all, official colander heads now.
See you real soon! - VegaNova |
