ISSUE #55 - July, 2005 Hey everyone! Thanks for checking out yet another issue of the Bulletin. This month we have some new features which we hope you'll enjoy, along with the usual website news and some last minute CV2 updates. |

The time is almost here for CV2 - it all happens on July 29th. There's still a time to register and attend for those who love to wait until the last minute. It's a tough trip to make for most people - there's no question about that. But I'm positive that those who pull some strings and venture out won't be dissapointed. This is after all, the only organized gathering of this odd passion that not everyone else shares.

There was much planning done on what we could do to make this event fun for everyone who could attend, and the creation of the CV2 plush was just one of those brainstorms. We wanted to have a keepsake for fans to take home with them, something a little extra special for those who decided that our gathering was worth making the trip for. Of course some of our ideas fell through the cracks and didn't make the cut, but I'm amazed myself at everything that came to fruitation. In fact, most everything we wanted to happen, will be happening and I think that really speaks to the dedication J and Jenn have for this event. It also speaks to the dedication of the fans who have bought our CV DVDs and helped to support this event financially. I promise that every dollar we've raised is being spent toward this event along with more dollars from our own pockets than we'd like to admit. To me that proves that we really are doing this for the fans and not for ourselves. I have an entire room filled with my collection of SPP and CEC junk. But if I'm the only one seeing it, what good is it really? That's why I run this site and why I whole-heartedly support CheeseVention. It's the essence of this very website manifested in physical form.

There are also some more changes occuring around here at ShowBiz Pizza.com - we have a new moderator for our message board. Many of you are already aware of this but in case you're not, 'Harmony Howlette' is now helping out with board functions. Both Danny and I have been swamped lately by various things and haven't been able to dedicate as much time to the board as we'd like to, so the decision was made to bring on some extra help to make sure everything remains orderly. So it might take some time for her to learn all the ropes and become familiar with eZboard's moderator functions (when you become a mod or an admin all kinds of new options light up), but regardless - she is in charge now and I welcome her to the administrative family as I hope you all will. |

The plans for this year's Rock-a-Palooza are still very fluid and nothing is set in stone yet. But if all goes well between now and then I hope to debut a new permanent part of this site during the RAP event. I'm afraid that I can't say too much about it yet, but it's something that's been in the back of my mind for about a year now. All that's left is some testing to make sure it'll work. ;) See you next month, |
