ISSUE #66 - Oct/Nov/Dec, 2006

Hello fans! VegaNova here. It's been mighty quiet here at ShowBiz Pizza.com lately. That's due to a whole slew of personal issues that are far to complicated to even being to explain. However, even with the sparadic updating there's been some neat things going on here and even more to come in 2007. Let's take a quick recap of all that's happened and what you can expect from SP.com in the year ahead!

For those of you who keep track of these here Bulletins (yes, all 6 of you) there are a few important things to note. One I'll get to a little bit later, but in case you're wondering how we skipped a number, check out Issue #65 for a complete wrap-up of CheeseVention 3. The photos from the event will be posted in a future update of PizzaCam's Photo Gallery.

Speaking of CV3, it was awesome - don't believe me? Check out the CV3 2-Disc DVD Video available now! (Pretty blatant marketing ploy huh?) I gotta give Nick, our newest webmaster some mad props for putting this video together, as it is far superior to any CV videos from the past. Also I need to give Nick thanks for all the time spent encoding and uploading all of the videos that make up the bulk of the recently added Video Archive.

The new Video Archive was the aspect which saved the 2006 Rock-a-Palooza event, just as Radio ShowBiz saved it last year. Although many fans enjoy RAP, it has become increasingly hard to keep up, so it will not be happening again. Maybe somewhere down the road it will make a comback, but for the foreseeable future, it has passed for good. RIP Rock-a-Palooza. But fret not, because my goal is to (over time) incorporate much of what was included in the event right into the main website for viewing year round.

Mini-Animated Billy Bob Papers

Those further changes to Billy Bob's Bulletin mentioned earlier is that this is the very last issue. Yes you read that right, so read this... very ... slowly and make it last. The Bulletin has had a nice long 5+ year successful reign, but it's time for change. These Bulletins have become increasingly hard to do, especially on a consistant basis. I also run into the trouble that anything that I report has already been throughly discussed on our message board by the time I'm able to post it - the internet runs very fast and people are always hungry for information. Seems anymore, blogs are all the rage, so this will become Billy Bob's Blog in 2007 and will be run throught the SP.com MySpace webpage, and you'll need to join our friends list to view it. Don't have a MySpace account yet? Of course you do - everybody does! :)

Also you may have noticed, the Fan Club has been taken off-line. Another casualty of time constraints and lack of material. My thanks goes out to all of those who have supported it through the years. It will be back in 2007 as the SP.com shop, with access to some of the staple items such as the CV DVDs and a few items that I have multiples of for sale. With any luck, this will interface with the eBay SP.com sales page that will have many individual items that will be first come first serve, as I begin to sell off my collection of Chuck E. Cheese memorabilia.

In the weeks ahead I will be having surgery (nothing too serious) but one that will give me some time off work finally, that I plan on using to make many SP.com updates that should have been done in 2006. It will be a nice chance to get back into the updating mode and bring this website into what it should be.

- VegaNova
