A very popular and classic children's song, "Hokey Pokey" would be a natural choice for a Chuck E Cheese's live show. But instead of Chuck E and his band singing their own version of this song, Department 18 decided to use Brave Combo's rendition.
This live show is "Hokey Pokey" done by Brave Combo. Although the CEC characters did not have a part in this live, the Existing Stages animatronics lip-sync to the lyrics. "Hokey Pokey" is on Chuck E's Awesome Tune Tracks cassette, released in 1996. CEC has finally done its own version of "The Hokey Pokey" - released in 2004 as a Road Show live.
Although it is an awesome version of the classic children's song, I did not like the fact that this live show was not done by CEC and the gang. Nothing against Brave Combo...but this is Chuck E. Cheese's, and you would think a CEC live show would feature Chuck E. Cheese and his band. Oh well.
