-1.5 out of 5 Tokens-

Old MacDonald had a farm, and it looks like the farm has relocated from the toddler zone to the showroom! Literally! This song was a road show and has been re-issued now as a live show. Same music, just in a different location. Some welcome the change, while others aren't as accepting.

While I usually tend to always welcome new live shows, my feelings aren't as warm for this one. You ever hear the expression, "if it's not broken, don't fix it"... well if you haven't, now you know. This show should never been taken out the toddler zone. I believe in road shows for gameroom/kidcheck area... and then there are some that best belong in Toddler Zones. Old MacDonald is very kiddy, and doesn't entertain older crowds like the Chuck E Shuffle or Chuck E. Says.

What else is there to say on Old MacDonald... the lighting is good, however on a MMBB it looks pointless when the characters don't even sing along. It's almost as if they're in random movements, just with lighting. I only gave this 1.5 out of 5 tokens because no matter how you cut it, this live show is rather tasteless. There's too many childish live shows, it's time for someone to take a new spin and bring it up to 2007, kind of like the Cha Cha Slide road show did for 2006. Now, if they were going to take a road show and make it a live, that'd be my nomination over Old MacDonald any day. I'm sure others in the stores would agree too, the live shows are only as great as the cast is motivated. And no one at a store I've visited to see Old MacDonald was too enthusiastic about it.
