Dook Dolls - ShowBiz Pizza Place

1984-1986 - Oriental Trading Co.

OTC Dook Doll
EST VALUE: $30-50

This is the OTC version of Dook Larue. I've had several Dook dolls, but this is the only one with a tag. Stands 9 1/2 inches tall. Comes in 11 peices: Doll body, shirt, pants, collar, 2 armbands, belt, hat, 2 drumsticks, and chest sticker (that is very often lost). Very hard doll to find complete. The clothing is made of a cheap material that frays easily. Almost made of a tinsel like material that is woven into a net material. The drumsticks are nothing more than fat toothpics, with cut off ends. The hat is glued on, and the chest emblem is a sticker. The collar velcros onto the shirt, and the armbands are held on by elastic.

1983 Dook Doll (Mint in Bag)
EST VALUE: $100-125

Perfect example of a doll manufactured without a tag. The date on this Dook's card (1983) would signify an Acme version, but it is hard to say with 100% accuracy. Any Dook MIB will should easily be worth about $100, and any loose version that's complete is worth about half that.
