Large Billy Bob Doll (CEI Version)
EST VALUE: $25-40, $50-70 MIB

Stands 12" tall. Unlike the smaller ShowBiz versions, this doll is much softer and has a rubber-like face and claws. The eyes are seperate from the head and are doll-like in appearance. Straps from suit velcro in the back. Small tag on overalls that reads made in Taiwan.

Large Billy Bob Doll (ShowBiz Tagged)
EST VALUE: $100-150

From what my research has found, CEI made these prototypes in 1980 and sent samples to ShowBiz. SPP produced some from there and CEI produced others that were sold at Looney Bird's (Orlando) in the late 1990s. Most large dolls out there are those CEI versions and NOT ShowBiz versions.

Large Billy Bob Doll (ShowBiz Version)
EST VALUE: $100-150

This is an alternate version of the Large Billy Bob Doll believed to also be an early ShowBiz version. Unlike the others, this one has 4 red buttons on the overalls. Also the straps in the back do not cross, and are sewn instead of velcroed.

Large Beach Bear Doll (CEI Version)
EST VALUE: $25-35, $50-70 MIB

Stands 13" tall. Like the Billy Bob doll, this one is very soft also. Has a soft rubber face and claws, and doll-like eyes. Produced without blonde hair or a lei like the smaller ShowBiz version.

Large Beach Bear Doll (ShowBiz Version)
EST VALUE: $100-150

Although untagged and unmarked, this is believed to be the 1981 ShowBiz version of the large Beach Bear doll. His face has the same darker characteristics of the older SPP ones, and his shorts are very different from the CEI released versions. They are also sewn to his body.

Large Mitzi Doll (CEI / ShowBiz Version)
EST VALUE: $75-125

Stands 13" tall. Much like the other dolls, Mitzi has a soft body with soft rubber face and hands. Doll like eyes, and hard plastic saddle shoes and socks. Unlike the smaller ShowBiz version, this Mitzi does not come with pom-poms or even hair. Dress is one piece that velcros in the back. Perhaps made in smaller quantities, very few are known to exist Although unmarked, Mitzi is also known to be released by ShowBiz in 1981.

Large Fatz Doll (CEI / ShowBiz Version)
EST VALUE: $75-125

Stands 13" tall. Similar to the other dolls, Fatz has a soft body with soft rubber face and hand. Tux is one peice that velcros in the back. Very few of these are known to exist, and variations are known that have blue instead of brown eyes. Perhaps this doll was also made in smaller quantities. Although unmarked, Fatz is also known to be released by ShowBiz in 1981.

Large Rolfe and Earl Doll (Prototype)
EST VALUE: $???

This is a prototype doll of Rolfe and Earl that was never produced or released. In fact, this picture was taken of the only one known to exist - which is part of CEI's personal collection. It is about 14" tall and was made to match the others of the large type.

Large Earl Doll (Prototype)
EST VALUE: $40-50

This is a prototype doll of Earl that also was never produced or mass released. It is the same as the one pictured above. The only thing significant about him is that a few of these are known to exist (not attached to Rolfe). He stands about 5" tall and is made out of latex. The black thing sticking out of his head is the part where he is made to attach to Rolfe.

Large Earl Doll (Prototype)
EST VALUE: $???

To be honest, this is a bit of a mystery. This Earl was another prototype created from CEI, however he is smaller and wearing a twine belt. Made of similar latex, but might be an experiment for a Rolfe what would have been in scale with the smaller (9") ShowBiz released dolls. Or maybe it's just an alternate Earl made for the large doll.

Large Dook Doll (Prototype)
EST VALUE: $???

Another prototype from the large sized set of Rock-afire Dolls, this Dook stands about 13" tall. He was not included with a hat for some reason, and his chest emblem looks to be hand colored and manually placed on his chest. Another one of a kind, part of CEI's personal collection.

Large Looney Bird Doll (Prototype)
EST VALUE: $50-70

Here's an example of a large sized Looney Bird prototype - it is just the face, as that seems to be all that's turned up. A few of these are known to exist. The one in CEI's personal collection is more cross-eyed than the one in this photo.

Large Beach Bear Doll (Prototype)
EST VALUE: $???

This is another sample prototype that is different than the Beach Bear that was mass produced. This one has a darker face made from a different latex and a completely different design on his trunks. This is the only known sample of it's kind, again part of CEI's collection.

Large Mitzi Doll (Prototype)
EST VALUE: $???

This Mitzi Prototype in CEI's collection is noticeably different from the retail versions. The material of her fur is much more coarse and frizzy, and much darker as well. She also stands a little taller, as her ears are more prominant. At least 2 copies of this 'sample' Mitzi are known to exist.

Large Fatz Doll (Prototype)
EST VALUE: $???

This is the Fatz prototype that exists in CEI's collection. This one is quite similar to the versions that were made for retail sale, but with a slightly different jacket material. Also the most noteable difference is the addition of actual metal buttons to the suit front.
