Beach Bowzers ‘91 was the second and final showtape for the Beach Bowzers (a retrofit of the “Beagles” animatronic show) instead this time impersonating the Beach Boys. Much differently from the original 1982 Beach Bowzers Showtape, an entirely original, in-house new cast of voice actors took over the Bowzers. The tape is the second case of Pizza Time Theatre and Showbiz Pizza Time Inc., changing the voice actors in sequel releases of showtapes instead of using the original artist recordings.
Mystery Voice Actors - Information regarding the cast who voiced the surfer-pups in the showtape is currently lost media.
Barks - Much like Helen Henny and Madame Oink, the Beach Bowzers are no different in the sense of making their respective animal noises, this leads to roughly around 130 “Barks” in this showtape.
Release Date - Beach Bowzers ‘91 was released almost nine-tenths of a decade after the debut and release of the original Beach Bowzers showtape. Beach Bowzers ‘91 is the nineteenth-showtape out of 21 “Cabaret” and “Lounge” showtapes.

The Beach Bowzers ‘91 Showtape was a really good final showtape for the Beach Bowzers, the voice acting is incredible, I’d say it’s better than the original artists recordings. The showtape takes a very calm approach, and even parts that should be generally expected to be louder (ie: drums, strumming of bass/guitar) are fairly soft; I’d argue that this showtape is one of the most calm in the whole 45 year history of Chuck E. Cheese’s Pizza Time Theatre to present day CEC Entertainment Inc. This approach is something I am a dear advocate for, I’d say it’s even calmer than Dolli 1. Unlike the October 1979 Cabaret Helen Henny tape, the animal noises were bearable and did not feel over-the-top or used too frequently at any point in the entirety of the showtape.
Surfin’ USA and Fun, Fun, Fun were excellent picks to end off the tape, and the almost 10 year history of the Beach Bowzers, which felt very fitting and natural. The first time I ever listened to the tape, I was expecting some low budget typical unorganized Showbiz Pizza Time mess of a showtape, however it totally exceeded my expectations through the roof. Beach Bowzers ‘91 is definitely a take worth listening to for any Beach Boys or Chuck E. Cheese fan.
