1981 Mitzi Doll

This is one of the first SPP Dolls. 9 1/2 inches tall. Comes in 2 peices: doll body, and cheerleader dress. Also has 2 pom-poms and 2 hair bows that are often lost. The cheerleader outfit has velcro in the back to hold it on. Doll has light grey fur.

1982-1984 - Acme Co.
Acme Mitzi Doll
EST VALUE: $20-30, $100-125 (MIB)
This is an example of the Acme version of Mitzi. 9 1/2 inches tall. Comes in 2 peices: Doll body, and cheerleader suit. This doll is very close to the 1981 version, however, the dolls made after 1981 have the ears sewn on more to the side than straight above. This version also has light grey fur.

1984-1990 - Oriental Trading Co.
OTC Mitzi Doll (Version A)
EST VALUE: $20-30
Early version of the OTC Mitzi Doll (version A). 9 1/2 inches tall. Again, only has in 2 peices: Doll body, and cheerleader suit. This doll is of better quality than the B versions. Looks very similar to the Acme versionand sometimes the only way to tell is by checking the tags.

OTC Mitzi Doll (Version B)
EST VALUE: $20-35, $80-125 (MIB)
This is the later version of the OTC Mitzi (version B). 10 1/2 inches tall. Comes in 2 peices: Doll body, and cheerleader suit. It's made much more cheaply, and has the typical glue marks and bad sewing job. The obvious difference is that she has white fur. (I still don't understand why they made this change.) Other differences is that the leg fur extends down all the way to the shoes, covering the socks - the longer legs make her taller. Also the "M" on the chest is made out of a molded peice of thick felt.
