Burt Wilson & Rick Bailey Radio Interview - WPRK 91.5 FM

In light of the recent passing of Burt Wilson (aka "Sal" or "Bubba Whoopass Wilson") we wanted to share something from the archives. This is a radio interview from the World Music Show on WPRK 91.5 from Sunday June 26, 2011 featuring Burt and also Rick Bailey. Although portions of this recording and some of the live performances have been playing on Radio Showbiz for over a decade, this is the first time the entire radio show has been shared.

Honestly the dialogue portions are great to listen to. Both Burt and Rick give insights into their music history, including how and when they met at Creative Engineering working for Aaron Fechter, to their musical involvement together through the years, to what they were doing currently at the time. There's also a lot of personal memories, struggles, triumphs and experiences shared by Burt. These stories really help to shed some light on the (actual) life of someone who was better known by his character work and over-the-top talk radio personas.
