Chuck E. Cheese's Travel Log (August 2007)
Vinita, Oklahoma

Chuck E. is quite the McDonald's fan and when he gets a craving, he has to deal with it in style. That means eating his Big Mac at the world's largest McDonald's in Vinita, OK. This gigantic restaurant encompasses an entire overpass over the highway!

St. Louis, Missouri

One stop Chuck E. had to make while traveling across the country was the Gateway Arch in St. Louis! Chuck E. visited the Arch museum store, and also got to visit the touristy sites at the base of the Arch, along the Mississippi River.

Pontiac, Illinois

A cross-country trip couldn't be complete without some stops along historic Route 66. Of course much of the roadway is now gone, Chuck E. was able to relive some of the history and "get his kicks" by visiting the Route 66 History Museum.

Napperville / Tinley Park, Illinois

While in the state of Illinois, Chuck E. wanted to visit his friend's the New Rock-afire Explosion at the two Odyssey Fun World locations. They must have heard he was coming because when he arrived, both shows were broken. Or the curse of the Rock-afire that seems to doom all existing shows had struck just prior to his arrival. Either way, he left both stores one dissapointed mouse.

Berwyn, Illinois

Another stop Chuck E. had to make was at Cermak Plaza in Berwyn to see the famous Car Spindle aka the Car-Kabob!! This amazing work of art is unfortunately about to be removed and most likely destroyed. Chuck E. was lucky enough to see it while it is still standing.

Lombard, Illinois

Chuck E. made a short excursion to see the animatronic show at the Enchanted Castle in Lombard, IL. He and his friends were treated to a wonderful show, and given VIP treatment by the manager and staff on duty (despite knowing that the mouse is their bitter rival)! An excellent time was had by all.

Chicago, Illinois

Once again filling his need for McDonald's burgers, Chuck E. went to the "Rock-and Roll" McDonalds in downtown Chicago. Here he got to see McDonald's evolution over the years, plus some cool 50s items inside this 2-story restaurant.

Chicago, Illinois

Also while in Chicago, Chuck E. visited some other downtown sites such as the Rainforest Cafe, Hard Rock Cafe, and of course got to see the Sears Tower. After a long day, he sat down at White Castle to chill out and have an entire bag of "sliders" for lunch! And because Chuck E. is the obsessive type, he had to check out yet another Kwik E Mart - meaning he's visited 1/4 of them!

Longmont, Colorado

Always on his guard, Chuck E. traveled to see the new "R Music" McDonald's concept store. Unsure of whether this could be a competition for his CEC stores, Chuck E. had to get a first look at this prototype restaurant. He was impressed to say the least, and he was able to sneak around unrecognized by all the kids enjoying the new musical playplace.

Sturgis, South Dakota

Chuck E. got his motor runnin' and he headed out on the highway to Sturgis for the 2007 motorcycle rally. Chuck E. had never seen so many bikes in all his life. They were like ants! But it was still fun for Chuck E.
