Time To Fly!

This is actually the same show as last year's Summertime, but this version has an extra skit with two more original songs: "Don't Hurry To Worry" (a remake from a 1994 showtape) and "Row Your Boat" (a parody of the classic children's song with a Rockin' Rhymes kind of funky twist). With the addition of these two songs, Summertime is now a longer, complete, fun show.

Studio C (Part 1) - There is no curtain diversity for Studio C.

Studio C (Part 2) - The Studio C puppet footage is reused from Summertime 2000, and all new puppetry was made for Segment 4, keeping similar to the rest of the footage with patterns you would see on a Hawaiian shirt, and Munch's orange screen color.

Studio C (Part 3) - There are some neat effects and suprrises with the Studio C puppets in the newly added Segment 4. During "Row Your Boat", Munch has a Chuck E plush (looks like a limited edition style plush) dressed up as a sailor, and Helen's screen splits up into four of her during the choruses.

Studio C (Part 4) - "Ocean" and "Ski Time!" interactive intermissions have been added to this year's Summertime. The whole Studio C intermission line-up is completely different from Summertime 2000.

Existing Stages (Part 1) - There is no curtain diversity for any of the Existing Stages.

Existing Stages (Part 2) - The Existing Stages intermission line-up is exactly the same from Summertime 2000. Note that there is not an Intermission 4, it just jumps right back to Segment 1 after Segment 4.

Segment 4 - As mentioned, Segment 4 is brand new in Summertime 2001/2002. "Don't Hurry To Worry" is a classic CEC song from 1997 with a modern remake, and features all the character's vocal talents. "Row Your Boat" is a brand new original (reminds me of the great, funky songs in Chuck E's Rockin' Rhymes) featuring Chuck E and Helen.

Book Your Party Online Promo - Although in the 2000 version, the Book Your Party Online Promo is not in Summertime 2001 & 2002.

Summertime 2002 - The second version of Summertime was supposed to be for use in July 2001 and July 2002. After the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center, it was decided at CEC Entertainment to delete the footage of the WTC in Segment 2. In place of the WTC, which you see for only a few seconds in "America, America", they inserted footage of the Statue of Liberty. Studio C stores used the same DVDs from Summertime 2001, except they received software upgrades for the new Liberty footage. Existing Stages stores received new showtapes.

Birthday Break - The Birthday Break music and video is reused from Chuck E's Rockin' Rhymes, which is odd because Summertime 2000 had it's own Birthday Break music and video.

With the addition of Skit Four, the second version of Summertime is overall a great, fun, & complete show!
